Buzzin Soap Stars

It was reported today that Tootsie, Edna Birch’s pet dog, has sadly died.  Tootsie has been in the soap since 2002 when she became a  pet for Paddy and Emily after she was found abandoned and later became a replacement for Edna’s previous dog, Batley, who was killed in 2002.

The Papillion had several star roles, such as Edna’s hit and run episode and when she was cross-bred with the Dingle’s dog, Alfie, in March.

Fortunately, Tootsie’s real owner who breeds Papillion’s, has arranged for another of her dogs, Dusty, to step into the role.
