The Coronation Street actress Maggie Jones who plays the comical character Blanche Hunt, is bank on the ITV soap after being hospitalised.
The 73-year-old, had a fall at the hotel she uses while filming at the Granada Studios more than six weeks ago. She injured her arm, shoulder and knee in the accident and an onlooker said that she “looked quite frail” on her way to the taxi heading for the studio.
