Emmerdale
For the first time, a blind actress has joined the cast of the ITV soap Emmerdale. Kitty McGeever, a comedian, will play the role of ‘Lakey’, a friend of Lisa Dingles, who is played by Jane Cox.
The character arrives in the Dales fitted with an electronic tag after being convicted of petty crime where she will work off her community order as part of her punishment.
The actress who lost her sight at the age of 33-years-of-age through illness, will begin filming her part this month and is due to appear on our screens at the end of April.

i thing it,s great to know that their are saom pepele out their that give the blind a chans the blind cane to the same things a soneone can see
