Buzzin Soap Stars

Bobby Davro, who plays the role of Vinnie Monks in Eastenders is quitting the soap after just one year.  He has apparently been offered another project as well as starring in a Christmas pantomime.

Davro will finish on the BBC soap in the Autumn although an insider has said that a return to Eastenders is a possibility, as next month his on-screen son will make his debut.

The executive producer on the show, Diederick Santer said,

“We’ve really enjoyed having Bobby with us at Eastenders.  I hope this is is not so much goodbye as see you later.”
