Boris Johnson

London’s Mayor Boris Johnson, is to make a guest appearance in the popular BBC soap Eastenders later this year when he is seen having an argument with the Queen Vic landlady Peggy Mitchell played by Barbara Windsor.

Mr Johnson filmed his scene last week and in the Autumn we will see him step into the local after being tracked down by Peggy, who is getting involved with local politics.  The feisty lady is ready to give him a piece of her mind when he happens to walk through the doors.

Mr Johnson said;

“It was, of course, a tremendous honour to step inside that most venerable of London landmarks, the Queen Vic, and share a scene with another of the capital’s icons, the fabulous Barbara Windsor.”
