According to reports, Charlie Clements who plays the part of Bradley Branning in Eastenders was hoping for a romance with Roxanne Pallett who plays Jo Sugden in Emmerdale.
The actors struck up a friendship after meeting at an awards party in Dublin earlier in the year. However, Roxanne turned Charlie down as she sees him as just a friend.
A source said in a newspaper report,
“Roxy really enjoys his company. And yes, she’s a bit of a flirt but she didn’t mean to mislead him in any way. Charlie is one of the sweetest and funniest guys she knows. But she just sees him as a friend. She’ll be the first to admit she’s a very tactile person, so you can’t blame Charlie for getting it wrong. He’s pretty gutted about it all.”
