The cast of the BBC 1 soap opera Eastenders, collected three of the five awards presented at the TV Quick and TV Choice Awards last night.
The ceremony took place at the Dorchester Hotel with the cast of the ITV soap ‘Emmerdale’ and the Channel 4 soap ‘Hollyoaks’, leaving the annual event empty handed.

Steve McFadden who plays Phil Mitchell in Eastenders, has undergone emergency surgery after an accident on set.
Mr McFadden, 49, fell down some stairs and shattered his hand which has now been pinned and has 30 stitches in it.
