<p>The nominations for the<strong> 2010 Inside Soap Awards </strong>sponsored by <strong>Littlewoods.com</strong> have been made and now it is up to you to vote for your own particular soap favourites and special moments from the last twelve months.</p>
<p>Once again the UK soaps have thrown up some extraordinary story-lines, of particular note Corrie&#8217;s Tony Gordon blowing up Underworld, Jan Slater moved to tears when Eastenders Stacey Branning gave birth to baby Lily, Emmerdale Natasha Wylde shooting her husband Mark or how about Hollyoaks Sarah Barnes&#8217; ill fated parachute jump.</p>
<p><strong>Inside Soap magazine</strong> has made a short list of the nominations for this years awards and now it is up to you to decide who should go home with the prizes.</p>
<p>There are to ways to cast your votes, the simplest way is to visit the <a title="inside soap" href="http://www.insidesoap.co.uk" target="_blank">Inside Soap website</a> and follow the instructions, alternatively you can vote by post, by picking up the current Inside Soap magazine.</p>

<p>Bisson is probably best known for his role as the Coronation Street cab driver Vikram Desai (Vik), and also for the parts of Saleem Kahn in &#8216;East is East&#8217; and Kash Karib in &#8216;Shameless&#8217;.</p>
<p>The 34-year-old, is also to make a guest appearance on the BBC daytime medical drama &#8216;Doctors&#8217;, where he will play the part of a jewellery wholesaler who has a race against time to save his wife and child.</p>
<p>The episode has been named &#8216;Mr Jelly&#8217; and is to be shown on Friday 2nd October at 1.45pm on BBC One.</p>

<p>Vernon was the on/off boyfriend of Liz McDonald played by Bev Callard, whom he eventually married on New Years Eve 2007, after being beaten up by Liz&#8217;s former husband Jim.  The couple ended their marriage in June 2008 and Vernon was seen leaving Weatherfield in September 2008.</p>
<p>The 50-year-old actor is now set to appear in one episode of the popular medical drama playing the part of Tim Clayden.  The episode called &#8216;Nobody&#8217;, is to be on screen on Friday 2nd October at 1.45pm.</p>

<p>Adam has currently been starring in the BBC drama &#8216;Waterloo Road&#8217;, where he plays the part of Donte Charles.</p>
<p>This is the second sibling of a Coronation actor to be cast for a role in the medical drama in the past couple of weeks after it was recently revealed that the sister of Kat Kelly, Grace, is also appearing in the programme.</p>

<p>Grace Kelly, sister of Kat Kelly who plays the part of Becky Granger in Coronation Street, is to make a guest appearance in an episode of the popular soap &#8216;Doctors&#8217;.</p>
<p>The 19-year-old actress has landed the role of student nurse Sarah Copland, who after already been faced with a drink problem at an early age goes on to become anorexic.</p>
<p>Ms. Kelly has just completed her two days of filming in Birmingham for the episode called &#8216;Out of Control&#8217; which is due to air on Monday 18th May on BBC 1.</p>

<p>Philip told the Sun &#8220;It&#8217;s the best party in town!  Because the soap teams work so hard and it seems that they work harder every year, this is the one night they can truly let their hair down.  They party like no other people I have ever come across.  After the awards, I briefly go into the party, do a circuit and get out before it gets messy!</p>
<p>This years British Soap Awards, take place on 7th May on ITV1 at 8pm</p>
