Ryan Thomas, who plays the part of Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, has been fined £80 for urinating in a public area.
The soap star was caught by police when he relieved himself in a bush outside a club in Westbury and was given an on-the-spot fine.
He was allegedly handcuffed and put into the back of a police car which he left about fifteen minutes after the incident clutching a piece of paper and was said to be furious.
A police spokesman said,
“A 24-year-old male was given a fixed penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly. Urinating in a public place can be covered by such a notice.”
Thomas has recently become a father after long-term girlfriend Tina O’Brien, who played the part of Sarah-Jane Platt in the ITV Soap.
