Coronation Street actress Bev Callard who plays landlady of the Rovers Return, has allegedly closed down her pub and restaurant in Cheshire due to the economic situation.
It was originally announced in July that her business was suffering a financial crisis but now it seems that Callard has been forced to put the company into liquidation.
It is also believed that the actress has also taken a 40% cut in wages in Auguast for her role in the ITV soap, there’s no getting away from the credit crunch.
