ITV are considering producing musical versions of the ever popular Coronation Street.
Bosses of ITV are reportedly planning on turning the biggest television show into a West End Production.
After the success of the TV drama ‘Bad Girls’ as a musical, some of the bigger shows are now being considered. As well as Corrie, there is Emmerdale, Loose Women and Hells Kitchen.
According to Dawn Airey, who is the ITV’s top programme chief, Loose Women could be one of the first going to the West End, followed by Coronation Street.
“Loose Women would be ideal. You can make money out of The Virgina Monologues, so what’s the difference?”
