The former Coronation Street actor Bruce Jones who played the part of Les Battersby from 1997-2007, is allegedly living in a caravan after falling out with his wife.
Jones was suspended from the ITV soap opera in 2007 after allegations in a Sunday newspaper of his drunken behaviour. The following May it was reported that the actor would not be returning to the Street and his character would be written out of the show.
The actor is now believed to be living in a caravan belonging to a friend at a caravan park in Wales while he is allegedly under police bail conditions. It is claimed that he is facing charges of drink-driving, dangerous driving and assault after the row with his partner last month and has been ordered not to contact his wife.
Jones confirmed in January that he was struggling financially and now friends have reported that they are concerned for his welfare as he has become depressed and withdrawn as his problems escalate.
