The former Coronation Street actor Sean Wilson who played the part of nurse Martin Platt, has revealed his career change as an artisan cheese-maker.
Last weekend, the 44-year-old actor, was at Cricklade, Wiltshire, to promote his range of Lancashire cheeses at the local Butchers shop. After much success in the North of England, Sean took his Saddleworth Cheese Company on a tour of the South.
The cheeses also come with a host of unusual names such as; Mouth Almighty and How’s Yer Father, with some of the delicacies winning awards.
After playing the part of Martin for 21-years, Sean decided that he didn’t want to work day and night anymore, choosing to work in the daytime and spend the evenings with his young family.
