Siàn Reeves who played the part of Sydney Henshaw in hairdressing drama ‘Cutting It’, has landed a six-month stint on the ITV soap Emmerdale.

The 44-year-old actress is to play the role of Sally Spode, a former girlfriend of the village vicar Ashley Thomas, played by John Middleton, which doesn’t go down to well with his wife Laurel played by Charlotte Bellamy.

Her character has been described as a woman who will  put the marriage of Ashley and Laurel to the test with unusual and dramatic consequences.

Reeves will begin filming for the soap this week and is expected to appear on our screens in August.
