The popular BBC 1 soap Eastenders, will be celebrating it’s silver anniversary after being on our screens for 25-years, in 2010 and for the first time ever will be screening a live episode of the programme.
On February 19th 2010, the cast of the show will go live from the Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, showing the final installment of it’s anniversary week.
Although no details of the storyline have yet been given, to the cast or viewers, the episode will keep the audience guessing the outcome until the final few moments, bringing high drama and excitement to all.
The special edition is due to air at the normal time of 8pm on BBC 1 and follows the theme of the Coronation Street actors who celebrated their 40th anniversary with a live episode of the soap.
