According to reports in a daily newspaper, the Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden who plays David Metcalfe has allegedly been cheating on his long-term partner with his co-star Charley Webb who plays Debbie Dingle.
The 27-year-old actor has supposedly been secretly romancing Charley for the past six months while his girlfriend, Joanne Cavanagh has been touring the UK with the tribute musical ‘Sinatra’.
The pair were apparently seen arriving at Ms. Webb’s flat after a night out together last week and they were seen leaving together again the next morning, but cleverly drove off in seperate cars.
A source reportedly said “Matt is a real womaniser. He always has been. The only thing he loves more than women is himself. There have been gossiping and rumours on set about his relationship with Charley for months. He thought he could get away with it. He is so flash, he thinks he is untouchable. Joanne is a lovely girl and she does not deserve to be treated like this. Emmerdale viewers should know what a love rat he is.”
An Emmerdale spokesperson refused to comment on the story.
