Tony Audenshaw who plays the comical Bob Hope in Emmerdale, is to run in another marathon dressed as Tarzan.
The actor will be running in aid of Leukaemia Research at the 26.6 mile Manchester run in September but it is a marathon with a difference.
It will be known as the Tarzan’s Bananathon, and he will be joined by Sean Whewell, a Leukaemia Research fundraiser dressed as Jane, and blood cancer patient Tom McNally, dressed as a giant banana.
The route of the run will be decided by members of the public who can request a visit from the bunch in exchange for a donation to the charity.
The event will begin at 10am at the Manchester Royal Infirmary on 13 September and will run until 8pm, followed by an evening of entertainment, including Tony and his band ‘White Van Man’.
