Emmerdale
The actor Freddie Jones is returning to the village of Emmerdale to continue his role as Sandy Thomas, the father of vicar Ashley Thomas.
The actor took a break from the soap opera earlier this year but is expected to be back on our screens in February 2009.
The, 81-year-old, is too return amid a dramatic storyline with Ashley and on-screen granddaughter Jasmine.
