Ruby Allen - Eastenders

Louisa Lytton, the former Eastenders actress who played Ruby Allen and went onto The Bill, has decided not to renew her contract which ends in October.

Louisa was written out of Eastenders when it was decided that there was nowhere for her character to go, and started work on The Bill in January 2007.

In an interview she said,

“I’m only in The Bill until October, then it’s finished.  As yet, I don’t know what I am going to do next.”

A spokesperson for the popular police soap said,

“She has chosen not to renew her contract when it ends later this year.  Louisa has decided to move on after two years to try new things.”
