Last week I wrote the story of how unhappy John Savident was about his exit from his role as Fred Elliot in Coronation Street, well now he is to make a come back as his spirit takes over the new trainee butcher in the soap.

Craig Gazey who plays Graeme Proctor, finds Fred old straw boater in the back of the shop and decides to wear it, but he soon takes on the same way of talking that old Fred was known for.

It certainly sounds like it could be worth watching, I miss old Fred, I say I miss old Fred.
