Keith Duffy
Keith Duffy, a singer in Boyzone and former Coronation Street actor, has been in talks with the producers of the ITV soap drama for a possible return.
The 34-year-old, played the part of Ciaran McCarthy, an old navy friend of Peter Barlow from the beginning of 2003 until July 2005, when he quit the show to spend more time with his family.
A Coronation Street source confirmed that there has been talk of his possible return in the new year.
