According to reports, Jack Ryder who played the young Jamie Mitchell in Eastenders until he was killed-off, is now joining the cast of ‘The Bill’.

Mr Ryder who has recently separated from his wife, Kym Marsh, the Coronation Street actress, is to play the role of Duane Howe in the police drama.

As if that wasn’t something to look forward to, Shaun Williamson who played Barry Evans in Eastenders will also be making a guest appearance.

Mr Williamson has apparently filmed two episodes in which he plays gang leader Dave Monks, and will be shown on screen in August.
