John Thompson - In The Fast Show
Comedian John Thompson has landed himself a permanent part in Coronation Street after his three-part stint as children’s entertainer Jesse Chadwick.
The 39-year-old actor, played the part of Pete Gifford in the ‘Cold Feet’ but was last month seen playing his role on the street where he struck up a friendship with Eileen Grimshaw, played by Sue Cleaver, while entertaining the kids at Amy McDonald’s birthday party.
It has been confirmed that he has signed a contract for at least six-months and will begin filming his scenes in May.
