Phil Mitchell’s, childhood sweetheart turns-up in Eastenders, Manda Best, who will be played by the comedian Josie Lawrence.

Manda arrives in the square after her marriage ends and soon begins a relationship with the lovable Minty, but it soon becomes clear that there is still feelings between her and Phil.

Lawrence, best known for her part in ‘Who’s Line Is It Anyway’,  will have her first scenes aired in March and producers have said that there are plenty of future story-lines for the character.
