Coronation Street
In February of 2008, Sorcha Cusack made her first appearance as Helen Connor in Coronation Street along with her soap husband at the wedding of their son Liam who married Maria Sutherland.
Unfortunately, the actress is unavailable to make further appearances on the programme due to other commitment schedules and so the directors have now had to recast the character.
Frank Grimes, who plays the part of her husband Barry, will now have a new wife, 60-year-old Dearbhla Molloy, and the pair will make their first appearance as a couple in July.
