Nikki Sanderson, who played the hairdresser, Candice Stowe, is returning to the screen next month.

Nikki, left Coronation Street in 2005, when her character was seen leaving to be a stylist for Status Quo.

Now,  the 24-year-old actress, is to be playing the part of barmaid Dawn Bellamy in ITV’s Heartbeat.  Dawn is the niece of the late PC Phil Bellamy in the 1960’s themed drama.
