Daz Eden
Luke Tittensor who plays Daz Eden in Emmerdale, is in court today after being charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He is to appear before the magistrates in Rochdale in connection with the incident in which another mans jaw was broken. The case is expected to sent for trial at Crown court and if the actor is found guilty, he could be sent to prison for up to five years.

Jamie Mitchell
According to reports, the ex-Eastenders star Jack Ryder, is to join the cast of ‘The Archers’ on BBC Radio 4. He is to play the part of a character called Ryan who is connected to the programmes resident vet, Alistair Lloyd.
The 26-year-old actor, who recently separated from his wife, Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh, played the part of Jamie Mitchell in Eastenders until he was killed off in a car accident in 2002.
He will joint the Archers cast this week on a three month storyline.

Lynda Baron
The actress Lynda Baron is allegedly to return to Albert Square as the character Linda Clarke later this year. The 66-year-old is best known for her role as Nurse Gladys Emanuel in the classic comedy ‘Open All Hours’.
The character is the mother of Jane Beale and Christian Clarke and was last seen in the BBC soap in 2006 when Jane’s affair with Grant Mitchell was revealed at the wedding ceremony of her daughter to Ian Beale.

John Thompson
Actor and comedian, John Thompson, is to appear in Coronation Street for a storyline over three episodes which will be screened towards the end of the year.
He will be playing the part of a children’s entertainer called Jessie who is down on his luck and it is hoped that there may be more work for the actor later in the ITV soap.
Thompson has made appearances on The Fast Show as well as the popular Cold Feet where he played Pete Gifford.
