It seems that pregnancy and babies are the latest theme for the cast of Eastenders sending the writers scrambling to change story-lines to accommodate the parents-to-be.
Jo Joyner who plays the part of Tanya Branning, is expecting twins with her husband Neil Madden and the couple are said to be thrilled at the news. The 31-year-old, is expected to be written out of Eastenders towards the end of the year as the couple prepare to become first time parents.
Now it’s the turn of Minty, played by Cliff Parisi and his partner Tara Wyer. The couple have allegedly only been dating for three months after meeting at a Comic Relief function, but already Cliff has supposedly proposed.
The 48-year-old, Eastenders actor has three children from a previous relationship but is planning on marrying his fiance who has recently moved-in with him.
