The actor Kenneth Cope is returning to Coronation Street after 42 years, when he played Minnie Caldwell’s lodger Jed Stone, aka Sunny Jim.
He is returning in the same role after being sent to prison in 1966 for handling stolen goods but this time he is an elderly man making problems for the ruthless property developer Tony, who tries to evict him from his home.
