The police drama ‘The Bill’ will have it’s two episode a week showing cut to just one-hour long programme and has been moved to a 9pm slot.
It was reported that ITV are out to make cuts due to the recent recession and it has also been suggested that staff as well as actors on the show, are likely to face job losses or pay-cuts.
The new time slot for the show has been made available to allow riskier storylines and in the hope that cheaper entertainment can fill it’s original showing time and to attract more advertising revenues.
