This year is the tenth annual British Soap Awards, and the nominations have now been
announced, and they are ; Coronation Street, Eastenders, Emmerdale, Doctors and Hollyoaks.
The award ceremony will be hosted by Philip Schofield, 46, and Fern Britton, 50, and the categories range from Best Actor to Villain Of The Year, and the Best Storyline to Spectacular Scene Of The Year.
Philip told the Sun “It’s the best party in town! Because the soap teams work so hard and it seems that they work harder every year, this is the one night they can truly let their hair down. They party like no other people I have ever come across. After the awards, I briefly go into the party, do a circuit and get out before it gets messy!
This years British Soap Awards, take place on 7th May on ITV1 at 8pm
