The Jackson family are being reunited to return to the BBC soap opera ‘Eastenders’ for the programmes 25th anniversary in the New Year.
Carol Jackson, played by Lindsay Coulen will reunite her screen children Sonia, played by Natalie Cassidy and Robbie played by Dean Gaffney as they head back to Walford.
Carol Jackson was last seen on our screens towards the end of 1999 when she left Albert Square to take care of her mother. She was previously seen in a shouting match with her other screen daughter Bianca after discovering that she had been having a secret affair with her partner Dan Sullivan, played by Craig Fairbrass, with Bianca moving out of Walford.
Natalie Cassidy finished playing the part of her character at the beginning of 2007 along with her screen husband Martin Fowler played by James Alexandrou and their daughter Rebecca.
Dean Gaffney was last seen in the soap opera in 2004 when he attended the wedding of Sonia and Martin after initially leaving the BBC programme at the beginning of 2003.
The Jackson’s youngest sibling Billy is also said to be returning to Walford to complete the family but it is unknown whether the father Alan will make a return.
